MongoDB $ type operator

In this section, we will continue to discuss in MongoDB conditional operator $ type.

$ Type operator is based BSON type to retrieve the set of matching data types, and returns the result.

MongoDB type that can be used in the following table:

We use the database name is "w3big" Our collection name is "col", insert the following for our data.

Simple set of "col":

>db.col.insert({

MongoDB operator - $ type instance

If you want to get "col" collection title as String data, you can use the following command:
