<X: choose>, <x: when>, <x: otherwise> tag
<X: choose> tag and the Java switch statement has the same functionality. switch statement has case statements, and <x: choose> tag has a <x: when> tag. switch statement has default statement, and <x: choose> tag has a <x: otherwise> tag.
Syntax
<x:choose> <x:when select="<string>"> ... </x:when> <x:when select="<string>"> ... </x:when> ... ... <x:otherwise> ... </x:otherwise> </x:choose>

- <X: when> attribute in the table below.
- <X: otherwise> has no properties.
