ADO Update Records

We can update the database table a record with SQL UPDATE.

Update the database table records

We want to update a record in the Customers table of the Northwind data. First we need to create a table that lists the Customers all records.

If the user clicks "customerID" column button will open a new file "demo_update.asp". This file contains the source code to create input fields, these input fields based on the records in the database field, but also contains a Save changes "Update Button":
