<Xsl: for-each> element allows you to loop in XSLT.

XSL <xsl: for-each> element can be used to select every XML element specified node set:

Note: The value of the selectattribute is an XPath expression. This works similar to the XPath expression locate a file system, in which the forward slash (/) to select a subdirectory.


Filter output

By <xsl: for-each> element to add a select attribute discriminant, we can also filter results from an XML file output.

<xsl: for-each select = "catalog / cd [artist = 'Bob Dylan']">

Filter legitimate operators:

  • = (Equals)
  • ! = (Not equal)
  • & Lt; (less than)
  • & Gt; (greater than)
