Moderne Browser unterstützten Zeichensätze:

ISO-8859-1

ISO-8859-1 ist die meisten Browser Standardzeichensatz.

Der untere Teil der ISO-8859-1 (von zwischen 1-127-Code) ist die ursprüngliche ASCII-Zeichensatz (0-9, Groß- und Klein englischen Alphabets, und einige Sonderzeichen).

Der obere Teil der ISO-8859-1 (Codes 160-255 zwischen) enthält einige westeuropäische Länder verwenden Zeichen und einige Sonderzeichen sind weit verbreitet, sie alle realen Namen haben.

Die meisten dieser Symbole können ohne die Verwendung von Entity-Referenzen durchgeführt werden, aber der Name der Einrichtung oder Einrichtungen, die nicht leicht sind nummeriert stellt ein Verfahren zum Ausdruck über die Tastatur Symbole einzugeben.

HTML reservierte Zeichen

HTML und XHTML reserviert einige Zeichen. Zum Beispiel können Sie keinen Text verwenden, die diese Zeichen enthält, da der Browser für HTML-Tags gelesen werden könnte.
