In January 2003, Steve Jobs (Steve Jobs) announced that Apple is developing its own browser: Safari.
Prior to this, Mac systems using Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer as their default browser.

Safari 6 is integrated into OS X Mountain Lion - can not be downloaded from Apple's Web site or other resource stations.
Apple through Software Update to OS X Lion users of Safari 6. Apple is no longer before the release version of OS X Lion and Windows versions.
