IE 11 is fast and compatible standards. However, its main drawback is that it does not run on Windows 7 before the operating system version, and does not provide synchronization for the system!

In February 2013, Internet Explorer 10 is available for download for all Windows 7 SP1.

IE 10 no longer supports the following:
- XML data islands
- VML - Vector Markup Language (Vector Markup Language).
- HTC - behavioral elements and HTML components (Element behaviors and HTML components).
- DX filter - DirectX-based filter / transition effects.
- Conditional comments - in the HTML source code is interpreted IE conditional statements, such as: <-! [If IE 6 ]>. IE is used to provide and hide code.
- Content Advisor (Content advisor) - taken over by Windows Parental Controls.

New features:

- Smart Screen Filter - protect you from malicious software installed, the malware will expose your data, privacy and identity, and it is possible to damage your computer and valuable data.
IE 8 fully supports CSS 2.1. In addition, it fixes "many cross-browser inconsistencies such as get / set / removeAttribute, default attributes, Attribute object and <q> tag."

Internet Explorer 5
Internet Explorer 5 is the first major browser with XML support.
Version 5.5 (released in July 2000), for Windows 95,98, NT 4.0 and Windows 2000.Support XML / XSL, CSS, printing (print preview) and HTC behavior.
Version 5.01 (released in November 1999), primarily fixes a bug 5.0 in.
Version 5.0 (released in March 1999), was the first major browser with XML support.
Older versions of Internet Explorer
Most users do not use an older version of Internet Explorer. Web developers will ignore them. And their functions obsolete.
IE 4.0 (released in 1997).This version supports CSS and DOM to very good, but does not support XML.
IE 3.0 (released in 1996) is used by less than 0.1%.
IE 2.0 (released in 1995).This version is too old, no one to use it.
IE 1.0 (released in 1995).Does anyone remember it anyway?
Internet Explorer for Macintosh
Version 5.1.7 is the last one for Mac OS Internet Explorer 8 and 9, was released in July 2003.
Version 5.2.3 is the last one for Internet Explorer Mac OS X was released in June 2003.
Note: version 5.2.3 requires Mac OS X special features.Mac OS 8 and 9 users must download version 5.1.7.
Microsoft has stopped support for Internet Explorer for the Mac in December 31, 2005.
Mac users recommend the use of other browsers, such as Apple's Safari browser .
